We will pick you up from your hotel at 5:30 am in the morning and drive 45 minutes to K’oricocha where we will start our journey. After the visit you’ll have the opportunity to give any gifts you’ve brought for the them, after sheared that experience we will continue for 3 more hours to pukamarka. Here we will arrive at the house of a local family, where we will share lunch prepared by the local lady, and then we will continue all the way to huchuy qosqo community, where we will arrive to one of the local family in order to Stay with them and share dinner. And time before going to bed for the night in their house. You will be able to experience the life of local farmers living in remote areas high above the Sacred Valley, in the same way that their ancestors were living during Inca times.
Our wake up time will be at 6: 00 am after breakfast with the family, we will have an in depth tour of the archaeological site of Huchuy qosqo. It was a very important place and it was considered “Little Qosqo”. In this site we will see different sectors such a Inca king’s palace, the temple of the water, as well as ceremonial altars. Then following for 4 hours over the sacred valley to Kuper alto Where we will have picnic lunch. And then we continue to Chincheros where we will arrive to another local families, in this house market you can take a weaving class giving by an expert from one of the local villages for 45 minute, after learned the weaving process we will share a delicious dinner and then rest for next day.
Today our wake up time is at 7:00 am, after Healthy breakfast here in the same local house you can buy some of the locally made it alpaca products that the place is famed. After you will be picked up by private bus to be transported directly to Ñaupa iglesia where you will visit beautiful colonial chapel made it in 17th century. And then continue driving to Maras town, where you will explore through streets in order to see colonial gates from 16th, 17th, 18th centuries. Just 15 minute drive you will visit to salt mine, where you will enjoy five thousand salt pools. After amazing experience we will continue driving to Urubamba to visit local central market where your guide explain every indigenous product imaginable arrayed amid a time less cacophony of Andean humanity, cultivated in this valley. From Urubamba your destination is ollantaytambo train station in order catch up the train to aguas calientes. and spend the night in a 3-star hotel.
We will have breakfast and then take the first bus up to Machu Picchu. A walking tour (approximately 2.5 hours) is given by your guide and after this you can explore the mysterious city by your selfs. If you have energy you can also climb Huayna Picchu nountain (2720m/8890ft), (You need to buy a separate entry to do this). From the top of Wayna Piccchu is one of the most spectacular views of Machu Picchu and there is also an opportunity to visit the Temple of the Moon. We include in your tour your bus ticket back down to Aguas Calientes. The train usually leaves between 2.30pm and 6pm depending on Peru Rail availability. If desired, an extra night in Aguas Calientes can be arranged. This option is very popular as it allows more time to explore Machupicchu. (But please note if you visit Machupicchu a second day you need to purchase the ticket again).
